Another of one of the webcomics that I am reading is Fluffy Boyfriend by Mihi. I am writing this as of Episode 43, right as the author went on hiatus for a bit. And as sweet and fluffy that the title is thus far, there has been no romance in sight as of yet. In this comic, we follow Anna, a girl who has been cursed with not being able to touch anyone, and her half-human cat, Niko. Not only is Anna somehow able to touch Niko, but he introduces her to a whole new world of half animal-half human people. There are a lot of mysterious aspects of the story because Anna doesn’t remember her entire past or getting cursed, but Niko also seems not to be the most reliable story-teller. Where the story left off before the haitus, I felt like we were finally going to get some answers, and I can’t wait to get some answers. There are also some world-building that was taking place, but I still have some many questions. Either way, I’m really liking the way this story is taking place.

Witch Like No Other
Recently, I have finished the first season of this amazing webcomic known as Aerial Magic by walkingnorth. This comic follows Wisteria as she starts a new apprenticeship in the big city. One of the things that I’m loving about this comic is the diversity of all of the characters. It is really not said enough, but representation matters. It’s honestly amazing seeing all the different characters from their different background and looking like their own individual people. It’s really inspiring having a protagonist who looks like me and has some of the same struggles as my own, even if Wisteria’s are of the magical variety. I can’t wait for this webcomic to come back and see what Wisteria gets herself into.
Werewolves and Humans
In a world where werewolves and humans can live in harmony, everything isn’t as great as it could be. In Days of Hana, you are introduced to the human Hana and the werewolf Haru. They have been best friends since they were children. In this society, werewolves are seen as pets to most human families. After a werewolf attacks another human after their human was attacked, werewolves are not required to go to school alongside their humans. This is when the trouble truly starts, especially when Haru realizes that the feelings that he has for Haru aren’t exactly kosher. This webcomic is one of the cutest that I’ve read. Every chapter sends me on a rollercoaster of emotions that I didn’t know this would make me feel. The second season of this webcomic just started so it would be a great time to get on the feel-train with me.
Killer Roommate
Just out of college, that last thing you expect is that your new roommate kills people for a living, but that is what you get out of Assassin Roommate by Monica Gallagher. The characters balance each other well. There is not an overabundance of unnecessary characters. Everyone serves a purpose. The relationships are also written very well. There are hints of a love triangle, but it isn’t annoying as some love triangles can be. Everyone involved are adults. Yes, they do have outbursts of emotion, but it is all understandable. Also, the conflict between the different assassin networks is also interesting as you are trying to figure out what everyone wants and what their true motives are. The second season of this webcomic just wrapped up, so it is the perfect time to catch up on this amazing series. I can’t wait to find out what the author has in store next.
Tinder for the Gods
I’m going to tell you guys about this really interesting webcomic I finished reading. The title of this review tells you nearly all you need to know about #Blessed. In this, our protagonist is hating how lonely she is, decides to get on a dating app and accidentally wipes right on a pantheon of gods, seven to be exact. Now, she is a part of a prophecy and needs to go on dates will all of them and choose a single god. It is a really fun read, and will hopefully come out with a season 2 really soon. The ending was such a cliffhanger, and I need to know exactly what happens next. I would definitely suggest this webcomic to everyone.
Bird of Philosophy
If you ever had questions about life, Trash Bird is your … bird (I’ve no clue what this bird’s gender is, so they will just be Trash Bird.). This bird has lots of fun with their friend, Pink Bird, and completely blows the mind of their therapist. Why are they called Trash Bird, you may ask. Their home is a small pile of trash. Half of the time, I feel like Trash Bird is the bird version of me: loves food, naps and confusing everyone. This webcomic is a bunch of shorts that will subtly at times attack your funny bone. This bird is truly life.
The Comedy of Romance
In any great romance, there are some funny moments (I assume at least. I’ve never been in a relationship.). That’s where the webcomic My Giant Nerd Boyfriend by fishball comes in. It follows a real-life couple as they go through their everyday lives as artists and nerds. It’s not complete, but it is updated very often. I have finally gotten up-to-date with it (after binge-reading it for a day). I personally think that they are so cute together. Apparently, they have been together for four years, and are still so cute together. I personally think that they should get married, but I don’t want to force that on the two of them. When the time is right, they’ll do it. My shipping heart wants it to be soon though. Tell me if you agree!
Cutest Couple of the Future
In the webcomic set in the future, there is an amazing one known as Always Human by walkingnorth. It’s a beautiful romance between two very different girls with different goals for life. Every moment between them is beautiful; every moment is believable. One thing I enjoyed was that not every moment of their lives was not wrapped up in one another. They have struggles and friendships outside of their relationship. Not every moment is filled with fluff, even though the fluff was the cutest thing ever. And when the couple fought, it was over meaningful stuff, and their arguments were reasonable. They weren’t too nasty to one another, which made them even more adorable. I definitely would recommend reading this again and again.
Totally Sober Things to Do
I have recently gotten into webcomics. The first one that I finished was a short one called I’m NOT Drunk. It is a short webcomic about the strange things people do when they’re drunk. This comic ranges from drunken singing to accidentally asking people out. It was adorable and made me giggle a couple of times. It is short, sweet and very to the point. It’s also easy to see who the drunk person is because they are colored in red. Each “round” is a funny scenario or reaction to a scenario by the characters that stereotypical of drunken people. I would recommend reading this if you want something to give you a little laugh.
If you know some good webcomics, I’m up for suggestions. I’m new to the scene and don’t know very many sources.
