Life is Just a Game

In the world of No Game No Life, life is just that: a game. There is no war and no violence; everything is decided on by games. Also, different races of creatures. Just what the sibling duo called “Blank” likes it. (They’re not in a relationship. I think. … I’m pretty sure. … Just ignore it.) The entire time you are rooting for these two as they seem to get themselves into situations that seem impossible to get out of alive. It also has you scratching your head at the complexity of everything. Also, there is lots of fan service. You have been warned. Also, there may or may not be a second season or a movie coming out for it. Nothing has really been confirmed, but let me know if anyone has heard anything.

Skiing for Llamas

I know it has been a long time, but life happens. I’m sure everyone understands that to some extent. For the last day though, I have been completely addicted to the game Alto’s Adventure. The premise of it is that you are on an adventure in a snowy landscape while collecting llamas. It sounds silly, but the game is completely addicting in your attempt to get better scores and unlock new characters. Not only is the game simple to play, but animation style is simply beautiful with its simplistic style. Definitely a must get, but you might what to keep you phone on a charger while playing it.

Get the game on Android, iOS and Kindle Fire.

Monopoly on Steriods

Anyone who knows me knows that one of my favorite board games is the infamous “Monopoly.” And how could it not be? It is a game filled with trying to screw everyone over. Yes, it can take hours, but that is part of the fun. Now imagine my surprise when I find out the there is the a version of the game on the Wii, and it has been super sized. In this new version of Monopoly known as “Fortune Street,” not only do you have to buy a bunch of properties, you are introduced to more than the classic square board. You are introduced to boards that move around and transport you all over the screen and buying properties in a district help the rent grow. Not only that, but you can now buy stocks. The “stock market” in this game can make or break you, by buying a lot of stocks while they are low and then making it crash by selling a bunch of your shares. This game just makes the wonderful game of Monopoly so much better and go where you may or may not have wanted it to.

Scary Things Come In Four

As many may or may not know, the fourth and final (for now, at least) installment of Five Nights at Freddy’s has been released. I have been obsessed with the game and have watched others play for kicks and giggles (as soon as I get over the jump scares of course) from the very beginning it seems like. This game, which ironically doesn’t last five “nights,” has had people theorising about it’s lore from the very beginning making the comments section of these videos the place to be. If you have not heard of this gaming series, go ahead and check it out. If this game is just not your thing, it’s just not your thing, but if you are looking for a horror game with secrets on every camera screen, this Chuck E Cheese inspired game may be for you.
