Alright, so I promise this will be the last idle game that I talk about for a while. This one is called Idle Bouncer and it’s free on Steam (I hope you’re seeing a pattern here.). Unlike the Loading Screen Simulator, every reset gets you further into the game. As my main problem with that game, it was nice that that wasn’t the case with this one. The basis of the game is bouncing balls in these columns to generate energy. Using the energy generated, you improve the entire system and get as far as you can without it getting tedious, and then restarting once again. I absolutely loved this, the first time I opened the game, I had it open for about three hours, I want to say before I closed it and do what an idle game does best. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves idle games as much as I do.

For the Good of the Country
Another one of the idle games that are constantly being opened on my computer is AdVenture Communist, the “sequel” to AdVenture Capitalist. AdVenture Communist is a whole different beast than it’s Capitalist counterpart. Instead of just needing to make sure that you have enough money to purchase a business, you have to have enough supplies in order to purchase an upgrade. There is also a trickle-down effect in which the higher level purchases affect the lower level purchases. This game is honestly a balancing act. If you purchase things too fast, you’re screwed; if you purchase upgrades too slow, it’s going to take you a while to really get started. My head still gets confused as to what I’m trying to do, neither the less. I would definitely suggest getting this game if you are obsessed with idle games as much as I am. It’s free!
Gone Fishin’
The next show in my deep dive of reality television was Catfish. It’s a show about people who catfish, or pretend to be someone else on the internet. It’s a show that I would catch whenever there was nothing else on but never really paid that much attention to. This time, actually paying attention to everything, my heart truly goes out to some of the hopefuls. They were truly heartbroken. By far, my favorite moments were when they would meet the catfish, and Max would become protective of the hopefuls. Nev, the other host, was alright, but he could never reach the righteous fury levels that Max does. If anything else, it helped me catch up on my super sleuthing skills. I came in handy when people ask me to look up people on the internet.

I make it no secret that I love idle games. I don’t know what it’s about, but putting in a whole bunch of work so that I can just sit there later. The newest thing that I’ve played has been Loading Screen Simulator. It’s a cute little parody simulator about slow loading times. It was a cute, short little game. My one problem in the game has to do with the reset. Usually, with resets in idle games, the early game gets easier so that you can progress farther in the game. The simulator does not have that; when you get to the end, it’s the exact same gameplay occurring. It was cute for an hour, but then I just had to put it down. It was great to get some achievements on Steam from a free game, but other than that… I honestly would tell you not to waste your time with this game unless you just love getting some achievements.
Not Eating Your Life Away
The next show in the line-up of binging has been My 600 lb Life. I don’t know what drew me to it, I just want to watch a bunch of docuseries. (I believe that’s what they are called). It was recommended to me, so I decided why not give it a try. There were three seasons on Hulu that I finished in the matter of a couple of days. I was just so intrigued by to story. Through the entire hour-long episode, I am truly rooting these individuals on. Through every success, I’m so proud of them. Through every upset, I want to take them in my arms and tell them that everything is going to be okay. Also, I know that I’m not close to where the people on the show are out, but I could be. Like them, when I’m feeling like absolute crap, I turn to food for comfort. Since watching the show, I have been eating slightly healthier, (I can’t do much since I’m a college student with no money). As that is probably the point of the show, I would say it was pretty successful. Honestly, I just hope that the doctor continues the good work he does.
One to Save Them All: Pt 2

Selling the Family Home
As my binge on Property Brothers came to a close, I decided to start watching Buying and Selling. I found it kind of interesting, because I’ve always seen the buying aspect of those times of shows, but never the selling aspects of real estate. It was actually interesting to see Drew do something for once other than show up when all of the work was done. I kind, somewhat, but really, what does Drew usually do while Jonathon is doing the entire renovation. Either way, if you want to do about how stressful it is being a homeowner, you should definitely what this and give yourself mini heart attacks when you hear the price tags of the new homes.
One with My Monster Friends
I went in knowing that I was going to do another one pacifist styled playthrough. This time, I did the true pacifist route. I was not expecting to be an emotional hit as much as I was. By doing the true pacifist route, you learn a whole lot more about the background than you would by doing it regularly. I also made it a point to constantly call my buddy Papyrus in every single room that I went to. He had some very interesting stories to tell along the way that made the journey much more enjoyable. As much as I didn’t want to do the true genocide route, I feel like I need to. Based on some of the information that I discovered my last time around, I think it’ll need to in order to figure out the rest. I’m not going to say exactly, but I need to play the true genocide route. I feel that deep inside, I really need to play it, but at the same time, I really don’t want to. Considering the fact is took me a while to do the other genocide route, I would not look for a review on how that went in the near future, but I will make sure to not delete the game file on my computer so that I get the full experience.
Cursed Life
Another of one of the webcomics that I am reading is Fluffy Boyfriend by Mihi. I am writing this as of Episode 43, right as the author went on hiatus for a bit. And as sweet and fluffy that the title is thus far, there has been no romance in sight as of yet. In this comic, we follow Anna, a girl who has been cursed with not being able to touch anyone, and her half-human cat, Niko. Not only is Anna somehow able to touch Niko, but he introduces her to a whole new world of half animal-half human people. There are a lot of mysterious aspects of the story because Anna doesn’t remember her entire past or getting cursed, but Niko also seems not to be the most reliable story-teller. Where the story left off before the haitus, I felt like we were finally going to get some answers, and I can’t wait to get some answers. There are also some world-building that was taking place, but I still have some many questions. Either way, I’m really liking the way this story is taking place.
Witch Like No Other
Recently, I have finished the first season of this amazing webcomic known as Aerial Magic by walkingnorth. This comic follows Wisteria as she starts a new apprenticeship in the big city. One of the things that I’m loving about this comic is the diversity of all of the characters. It is really not said enough, but representation matters. It’s honestly amazing seeing all the different characters from their different background and looking like their own individual people. It’s really inspiring having a protagonist who looks like me and has some of the same struggles as my own, even if Wisteria’s are of the magical variety. I can’t wait for this webcomic to come back and see what Wisteria gets herself into.
