Here I am, finally done with this mind-numbing show that took the country by storm. If you missed my last posting, you can find it here. But now, on to the rest of the drama.
I am back with what I think is the second to last episode of the completely crazy adventure that I have been on. I honestly think that I have lost come IQ points along the way. If you haven’t read any of my previous posts or watched this insanity, I would suggest you go to Part 5 to see the links for previous posts.
I have once again made the tough and long journey to the Netflix tab in my browser and click play episode. I feel the need to reiterate that I am not binge-watching this show. In fact, I wait a day or two before watching another episode. A friend of mine almost spoiled somethings for me, so that’s why I am saying this. Before we continue, if you have not read the previous posts on this show, you can find Parts 1, 2, and 3 within this sentence.
In this post, I will be continuing my crazy review of the Netflix docuseries Tiger King. Considering the order of these posts coming out overall, you might think that I’m binging this show, but you would be wrong. After each episode, I must take a bit to truly absorb what it was that I just saw. Before continuing to read this, I would suggest reading parts 1 and 2 so you can get an overall feel of how much my head hurts from this show.
I have watched the second episode of Tiger King, and let’s just say that I’m a bit… perplexed is probably the right word. If you haven’t read the first part, you might be a bit confused. You can read my take on it here. Continue ahead if you are ready.
As you can probably tell from the title, I’ll be going over the crazy show that embraced us throughout the quarantine. Now, I’ve tried my best to keep from any information regarding this show other than the knowledge that this show is absolutely crazy. For that reason, I decided that if I truly want to talk about this show appropriately, I would need to go episode by episode in discussing the craziness that happens. I am writing this as of watching the first episode, so spoilers through that episode.
One of my favorite genre of mobile games is something that I like to call Soap Opera Games. These are simple games, mostly pressing different things on the screen, and for some reason, they have the most outrageous plot lines, a complete contrast to the gameplay. This time, I played the wonderful Dr. Cares: Pet Rescue 911. I originally wanted to play this game because of all the cute puppies, I will admit, but then a bought the rest of the game because of the storyline that started to unfold. I didn’t think that a romantic subplot was going to reveal itself, but there it was. I was playing this because of the love of animals, but then cute love interests revealed. It was unexpected, but I was not disappointed. I’ll admit, I was rooting for another love interest over another, but I’ll leave that for you to decide.
As someone who wants to help save the environment, it’s actually quite surprising, that this is my first time reading the book Silent Spring by Rachel Carson. As the book that started the entire Environmental Revolution for the United States. It actually was not at all what I was expecting. It might have been because I’m not really interested in the impact that humans are doing that affect humans, it did not affect me as much as I was hoping. In my eyes, there are enough people focusing on human health, while I just want to save the animals. They are too cute not to want to save. There were moments where I just didn’t care enough about what she was saying. While we were discussing the book in class, I would mention and think about all the good things she was doing, but at the moment, I just wanted to hear about what was going on with the animals. If that makes me a bad person, I’m not ashamed. I love me some animals.
One of the many recent games that I have downloaded on my phone has Pet Rescue. What can I say about it other than it is super adorable? The animal and character designs are well done. The simple animations are absolutely perfect. The premise of the game is that you are running a vet clinic with different services that you can upgrade your care for animals and help out missing animals. The first part is more time management and the second is waiting for a time to expire. There are also three worlds currently available as I am writing this. I have only played in two of them. The different worlds have different services you can offer and different animals to rescue. My one complaint is that the vets don’t get different outfits for the different world. I know that it is a silly complaint, but I just think it would be really cute.
You can get that game for Android and a bunch of random platforms from I saw.
